SHADOW OS Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the SHADOW OS#1799 on Discord and SHADOWOS#1686 on Revolt. Updated as of Ma 6th, 2025

What Data Do We Collect:

By default, the SHADOW OS Bot currently does not collect, log, or store any data what so ever. However, if you use the os/setlogschannel or the os/config command, the bot will store your server ID and channel ID from your log channel. (Applies to the Discord bot ONLY)

Why is this data needed?:

• Being able to properly log security notices
• Being able to properly take action in Discord servers if the bot is requested to do so.

Where is this data stored?:

This data is stored in a few .json files (1 json file for each setting) on our hosting provider for the bot.

Who has access to the data:

Only the bot owner (matthewsdevelopment) will have access to this data. However, on a rare occasion, our hosting provider admins may go through the files for safety reasons to ensure ToS and Community Guidelines is being followed.

• Join our Discord and speak with the owner.
• Join our Revolt Server and speak with the owner.
• Open a Ticket from our knowledgebase by pressing Submit a Ticket

Additional Notes:

The message content intent on the Discord bot is used so the bot can detect messages containing bad things for your server. We will NEVER track any of your messages. Please keep in mind that your server may have access to your message content you send that contains bad stuff filtered by the bot as the bot has a logging system for servers to use. We will never have access to your messages data

The creators/developers of the bot has the right to change/alter this privacy policy at any time without warning
